Fat Free, Gluten Free, Plant Based, Delicious Banana Bread

This healthy, gluten-free banana bread is the perfect treat for any time of day! Made with wholesome ingredients and a few optional add-ins, it’s delicious, nutritious, and easy to prepare.

What You’ll Need:
Spatula
Measuring spoons
Measuring cups
Whisk
Mixing bowl
Ingredients:
3 large or 4 small ripe bananas (avoid fermented bananas)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla bean powder (or 1 tsp non-alcoholic vanilla extract)
1 apple, blended, or 1/4 cup water
1 tbsp carob powder (optional)
1 3/4 cups gluten-free oat flour (or blended gluten-free oats)
3/4 cup coconut sugar or maple syrup
1 tsp baking powder
Optional Add-ins:
1/2 to 3/4 cup berries of your choice (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
1/3 cup raisins
Directions:
Mash the Bananas: Use a fork to mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
Mix the Ingredients: Add all the ingredients to the bowl with the mashed bananas. Stir everything together until well combined.
Optional Add-ins: If you’re using berries or raisins, fold them into the mixture now.
Bake: Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Check with a fork—if it comes out clean, your banana bread is done!
Cool & Enjoy: Let the banana bread cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy this wholesome treat!
